The coming-of-age drama takes place in a private college

(Web Desk) – Green Entertainment, a new TV channel set to launch on April 28, is bringing a breath of fresh air to Pakistani television with their upcoming drama, College Gate.

The coming-of-age drama takes place in a private college and follows the lives of a group of young friends from different backgrounds.

Directed by Fahim Burney, written by Ateeq Inayat and Ali Sikandar, and executive produced by Fasih Ur Rehman, the show is produced by A & F Productions in association with Multiverse Entertainment.

The show's trailer, released on YouTube, has already piqued the interest of viewers.

The trailer begins with a nostalgic narrator recalling the "golden days" of college and introduces a group of friends enjoying their time together on campus.

However, the trailer takes a dramatic turn when adult authority figures appear, showing the parental pressure and stress the young characters face.

But the show's focus on friendship and support shines through as the trailer shows the group dancing, laughing, and cherishing their time together.

"In a world full of conformity, a bunch of college students choose to walk the road less travelled; in hopes of discovering themselves and chasing dreams. How will the social norms and generic family dynamics hinder them?" the channel teased on Instagram.

The drama features a cast of young and emerging talents, including Zarrar Khan, Natalia Castillo Shahid, Khaqan Shahnawaz, Hina Chaudhry, Mamia Shajaffar, Shuja Asad, Washma Fatima, Nouman Kahout, and Asad Chaudhry, alongside well-known actors Javed Sheikh, Saba Hameed, and Nadia Hussain.

Fans of Pakistani television can look forward to College Gate, set to premiere on Green Entertainment soon.
